14-02-2015 Singles Tournament Announcement
A singles tournament will be held on Thursday 19th March 2015 at the St. Peters Centre. Entries will be limited so interested parties should submit their entry forms as soon as possible and in any event before the 13th March 2013 closing date. In the event that the tournament is over-subscribed, names will be held on a reserve list.

18-04-2014 Pollard Cup Final
The Pollard Cup final was played on 17/04/2014 at St. Peters Centre, Burnley, between West Craven and Burnley. The final was closely fought, but at the end of the match, Burnley did not need the 21.5 point handicap as they had already won the match by 8 points. The Pollard Cup final was played on 17/04/2014 at St. Peters Centre, Burnley, between West Craven and Burnley. 26-11-2010 Spirit of Sport to close to the public.
Although Burnley Council have made no announcement to their customers at the Spirit of Sport Leisure Centre, it is understood that the centre will close to the public in March 2011. This will be a major loss to the league as Towneley and Gawthorpe Badminton Clubs both use it as their home venue. It has also been used in recent years to hold the cup finals and the end of season knockouts. The league and the clubs involved would welcome any ideas or suggestions for new home venues.

The end of season knockout competitions were held at Spirit of Sport. The events were split over 3 evenings due to the record number of entries. The mixed doubles event was held on the 5th May with 13 mixed teams. The mens event was held on the 12th May with 13 doubles teams and 7 singles entries. The ladies event was held on the 19th May with 6 doubles teams and 2 singles entries. The finals of all events were held on the 19th May. The league management committee would like to thank all players for supporting this event and Ian Calder for organising and running the knockout tournaments once again.
